General Policy

Integrity

We do not create fake ads or use shills. Our website is not a front door to an affiliate website.

Privacy

We will not let anyone see your registration or account information without your explicit permission unless required to by law. Your registration username might be public.

No SPAM

We promise never to share your email address with anyone without your explicit permission unless required to by law.

If you receive SPAM with a From or Reply-To address that appears to have come from us, please understand that it has not. From and Reply-To addresses in email messages are often forged by spammers to prevent bounce back messages and reports of abuse. The fraudulent use of From and Reply-To addresses happens to many website domain names.

Our website does not use any pop-ups, virus, spyware, adware, or malware.

Access Pages

Register

The Register page is used to create a new member account.

  • Most if not all information entered during registration is updateable.
  • Most if not all information entered during registration is kept private. Sometimes your Username might be used as an online name that others can see.

Login

The Login page is used to login to your account.

Forgot Password

The Forgot Password page is used to recover a forgotton password.

Member Pages

Ads

The Ads page is used to list your ads.

  • This page is only for registered users.
  • The hit counter is shown on this page. Hits will not increment if viewing your ad while logged in.

Update Account

The Update Account page is used to update your registration information.

  • This page is only for registered users.

Change Password

The Change Password page is used to change your password.

  • This page is only for registered users.

Ad Pages

Search

The search page is used to search.

  • Search results are limited to 100.

Keywords

Table 2 shows the keyword search syntax to use. Words <= 3 characters are ignored.

Create

The Create page is used to create your ad.

  • 10 ads maximum.
  • Bold fields are hidden from other users.
  • Registered users must login.
  • Anonymous users (if allowed) must enter a password.

Email

You are in full control of your communications and privacy because we let you use your own email.

We recommend a disposable email address for protection against SPAM. Some services provide disposable email addresses; however, any free email can be used as a disposable email.

Photo

After you create your ad, you can upload one photo from the Update page. If one photo is not enough, you can add more photos in the Description field using HTML tags and any third party free image host.

HTML tags

Table 3 shows HTML tags that are allowed. HTML tags are only allowed in the Description field. HTML tags must be entered in the exact format shown; otherwise, they won't work.

Location

Latitude and longitude enables your ad to be found by proximity. You can find your latitude and longitude online by address or map.

  • Latitude is a value from -90º S to +90º N (e.g. 37.3717) in degrees.
  • Longitude is a value from -180° W to +180° E (e.g. -122.0255) in degrees.

View

The View page is used to view your ad.

  • Access from the Search page or Ads page.

Update

The Update page is used to update your ad and to upload or delete your photo.

  • Registered users must login.
  • Anonymous users (if allowed) must enter a password.

Photo

You can add one main photo to each ad by uploading it to our server. Press Browse to find the photo on your computer that you want to upload. Then press Upload photo to begin the upload. If you want to delete the photo press Delete Photo.

Delete

The Delete page is used to delete your ad.

  • The Delete page is only for Anonymous users (if allowed) which must enter a password.
